Julia Prudhoe
Programme Manager
Julia joined Care City in 2019 as a Project Lead and has led on a diverse range of projects including the design of a Training Programme for Mental Health Peer Support Workers alongside UCL Partners and the National Collaborating Centre for Mental Health and development of E-Care, an app for care workers to enhance their learning and knowledge, alongside Barking and Dagenham College, which is now being piloted across NEL’s health and care system.
She was subsequently promoted to Programme Manager in 2021 to head up the Workforce Development workstream and leads on our Careers Project, managed on behalf of NELCHP, working to inspire and encourage local people into local jobs in health and social care, through the development of relationships with local Schools and Colleges and a network of over 150 Health and Social Care Career Ambassadors.
Prior to Care City, Julia worked as a Senior Project Officer at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, working in the Improvement team. She led on pieces of work to implement the Model for Improvement method for staff to follow when involved in Quality Improvement projects. She is a trained Quality Improvement Coach and is undertaking NELFT’s QI mentoring programme. Julia remains passionate about Quality Improvement and Transformation.
Julia holds a BA Joint Honours degree in Sociology and Social Policy from the University of Nottingham.
